On the corner
Acrylic on canvas
An old truck stands at the corner of the Plaza of The Cross. One hears a radio playing softly outside a knick-knack shop for tourists.
Italy is known for its motorbike, called a Vespa, which means wasp. The bike was developed shortly after World War II. This painting harkins back to the mid 1950s. Then an era of no air conditioning, thus all the windows are open. There’s an impending storm and the wind is hot and breezy.Get into the mood of the painting and run into a nearby shop!
