LaiYek was born out of a simple idea - to help artists connect with an audience that appreciates their work and earn a living doing what they love. 

Why create a new website for artists to sell when there are so many art marketplaces out there doing the same thing?

Our biggest difference is - we do not charge artists fees for listing their products. Listing fees sound like a small expense but they add up over time and eat into the profits of struggling artists, especially if their work is not quickly sold. Other platforms also eat up a large portion of sales (30-50%) on top of the listing fees. We keep our commissions low enough to help us run our page and continue our goal of helping artists.

Another special mission is to provide a platform for people in assisted living facilities, nursing homes and those without homes, many of whom have never painted before. We provide them with art supplies, guide and support them, and sell their work for them. All proceeds go directly to them.
